Coolmore

Historic Coolmore stone cottage - circa 1812

Coolmore cottage was built circa 1812 as living quarters for the craftsman who constructed the major homestead. This historic stone cottage features a convict cellar together with ground and first floors, and provides a unique setting for guests.

With an astute eye for historic detail, Ladd Hudson were commissioned to reconstruct the internal and external sandstone walls, install new timber lined ceilings paying close attention to heritage detailing and profiles, and a new cedar staircase.

Existing timber flooring was rejuvenated, a hideaway cedar kitchenette was integrated into the design and the final result is a warm and welcoming environment for special guests.
